THE PAINTING TABLE.

The Painting Table has been a seed in germination for a long  time now, and combines the things I feel passionate about -  creativity, connections and wellbeing.

After many years of my own search for these qualities, and my strong belief that people are craving more of these meaningful activities, real connections and time out to slow down and reconnect with ourselves and nature, The Painting Table was born!

The Painting Table is a collaborative, communal project bringing people together around paint, conversation, nature and sometimes food, it's a shared painting experience!

There’s no pressure, no right or wrong. You will be gently guided for two hours through a series of creative exercises, culminating in production of a collaborative group painting. Your finished painting can be cut up to create beautiful individual paintings to keep as a reminder of a day well spent, or you can keep it whole as a family or group, as a reminder of a fabulous time together.

The Painting Table is a place to 'simply be', to unwind, to play and to find a connection with your creativity. it enables the freedom to paint while having no pressure to create a standalone piece of art. The Painting Table is a place of no fear, no comparisons and no pressure!

Anyone of any age at any artistic level can gather around a piece of paper and create a beautiful, organic painting as one of a friendly likeminded group. Your finished painting can be cut up to create beautiful individual paintings to keep as a reminder of a day well spent, or you can keep it whole as a family or group, as a reminder of a fabulous time together.

I’ve seen that something quite extraordinary happens when people come together and create. Tensions are released, the breath becomes deeper, the energy shifts and the atmosphere is calmer. It's a remarkable and wonderful thing to see anxieties and expectations vanish as participants let go and lean into the painting, enjoying the process and the permission to simply play!

The Painting Table is perfect for:

  • Team Building: An experience where your workforce share, connect and allow themselves to be themselves.

  • Family Events: A wonderful memory of a day, a keepsake and a time for various generations to be brought together.

  • Celebration: The Painting Table can be part of your day’s story, helping create memories and producing a keepsake to remind you all.

  • Retreats: A perfect art experience for any retreat or group programme. Introducing the creative element gives your retreat an experience to remember. Creativity and wellbeing go hand in hand!

  • If you're looking to collaborate then I'd love to hear from you!

A.R.T CLASSES.

I am excited to share that I am now offering A.R.T Experiences. Designed for anyone who would like to explore painting in a relaxed, supportive and creative environment. Set within inspiring Cotswold scenery. These classes will reflect the way I work in my own practice, using acrylic inks, I will focus on developing confidence, understanding colour and light, and learning to paint intuitively rather than striving for perfection. The courses will be suitable for beginners to intermediates. My aim is to create classes that are encouraging, inspiring and most of all liberating, where you can experiment, ask questions and build up confidence and knowledge in the medium.

ADULT ART ACADEMY CLASSES.

I'm delighted to announce that we will be running two adult art classes, fortnightly on a Wednesday.
These relaxed classes are held at the beautiful Brookthorpe Village Hall. GL40UR
Our earlier class will be running from 3.00pm - 5.30pm and our later class will take place from 6.30pm - 9.00pm
The day class might suit those of you with time during the day, who want to come and get creative, meet like minded people, obviously with lots of tea, coffee and laughs available. A perfect opportunity for a bit of 'you time'!
The evening class is exactly the same, it just gives those of you who work during the day, an opportunity to switch off, wind down and get creative.
